Disneyland Park in Southern California is the original theme park that started it all. Disneyland is, in our opinion, the one and only theme park of it’s kind. Disneyland "IS" the happiest place on earth (Or at least in California). Disneyland is where magic and memories abound for kids of all ages. Disneyland is Walt Disney’s dream come true in California. A magical place where children and adults alike can enjoy more than 60 major Disneyland rides and attractions, 50 shops, and 30 restaurants divided within Disneyland among eight uniquely themed lands. Guests to Disneyland in California can sing and dance along with their favorite Disneyland characters during one of the many entertaining parades or marvel at Disneyland’s “Fantasmic!” special effects show starring the star of Disneyland, Mickey Mouse. This must-see show is presented nightly at Disneyland each summer and on weekends along the Rivers of America in Frontierland. In addition, be sure not to miss Disneyland’s BelieveThere’s Magic in the Stars fireworks show presented each night during peak periods. Disneyland is open 365 days a year. For your convenience even pets can visit Disneyland but unfortunately must be left at the Disneyland kennel for a nominal fee. Disneyland HOT TIP - Want to avoid standing in long lines at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure? Well here are two ways to do it. First, if you and your family do not mind riding as a single... then some of the major rides allow you to ask the ride attendant for a single rider pass. Get the pass and zip to the front. Second, if you have a child that cannot ride, then do the "Parent Switch". Just ask any ride attendant to fill you in. These tips will work at both Disneyland and California Adventure on most rides!

Disneyland Tip 1 – For a good seat to see the Disneyland Fantasmic show, get a seat along the Rivers of America early! For a great seat, reserve seats on the second floor balcony of the Disneyland Gallery. Be sure to try to make your reservation as early as possible the day of the show at Disneyland Guest Relations located at the parks entrance.

Disneyland Tip 2 – There are two Disneyland Matterhorn Bobsled experiences. The left side ride is a bit shorter but much more thrilling than the right, which is fast but allows you to see some of the Disneyland Matterhorn sights. So choose your experience wisely.

Disneyland Tip 3 – For the most up to date show times be sure to get a copy of Disneyland Today at the Main Entrance. Or pick one up at various locations throughout Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Tip 4 – To Meet the Disneyland Characters try
Critter Country for Winnie the Pooh and friends
Mickey’s Toontown for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto
Adventureland for Aladdin and Jasmine
Main Street USA for Mickey Mouse and friends
Fantasyland for Snow White, Cinderella, and Ariel

Disneyland Tip 5 - If you would like to share a meal with the Disneyland Characters then try the following
